How use this project in real life ?

Install it into an agent that supports MCP, and talk to GitHub effectively, use it to create issues, read code and other tasks that help agents to interact with GitHub. Our README.md file explains all of this. I use this every day while I'm working on code.

This server lets AI agents (like Claude Desktop or Cursor) interact directly with your GitHub repositories.

Real-life use cases:

1. Automated PR Summaries: An agent can read your recent PRs, summarize the changes, and post them to Slack or a team wiki.
2. Issue Triage: An agent can scan new issues, label them based on content, and even suggest potential fixes by searching the codebase.
3. Repo Maintenance: An agent can check for outdated dependencies, broken links, or missing documentation and create PRs to fix them.
4. Code Context: When you're coding, the agent can search your repo, read files, and understand the project structure to give much better autocomplete and refactoring suggestions.

Essentially, it turns GitHub from a static website into a set of tools your AI assistant can actually 'use' to help you manage your work.
