can't change start menu sounds

Describe the bug

When i try to change my sounds i have to open the start menu to make appear the select a sound file screen and when i click my shortcut to my folder containing the sound it dosent do anything even after letting it for minutes

To reproduce

1. in open shell menu go to sound
2. click the little box with 3 . to change sound
3. it don't open manually so press the windows key on your keyboard
4. the select a sound file should open
5. click any shortcut on the left or try to copy paste the path to the folder and it stopped doing anything
