docs: human-led natural-language tone sweep across organ repos #81

Description

@Jammy2211

Overview

Sweep the human-led, natural-language-first framing — settled on the org front page (PyAutoLabs/.github PR #2) — through the PyAutoScientist organ repos and docs. The voice: "an agentic AI ecosystem for human-led, natural-language software development" — you describe what you want in plain English, agents plan/build/test/release, you make every judgment call. Rewording only; no boundary, contract or behaviour changes.

Plan

  • Reword the passive framing in PyAutoBrain first (the canonical pages): ORGANISM.md intro, README closing line, docs/index.md headline ("with a human checkpointing the judgment calls" → active you-lead voice; "fork it and run your own" → "fork it and lead your own").
  • Touch concepts pages only where framing is passive; leave already-active lines ("merge is always human", "front doors a human drives") alone.
  • One-sentence tone tweaks to the five other organ READMEs — Mind ("where you lead"), Heart, Build, Memory, and Conf (add its Nerves-of-the-organism sentence).
  • Reuse the settled org front-page voice verbatim where taglines are quoted.
  • One PR per repo touched.
Detailed implementation plan

Affected Repositories

  • PyAutoBrain (primary)
  • PyAutoMind, PyAutoHeart, PyAutoBuild, PyAutoMemory, PyAutoConf (one-sentence README tweaks)

Branch Survey

Repository Current Branch Dirty?
./PyAutoBrain main clean
./PyAutoMind main clean
./PyAutoHeart main clean
./PyAutoBuild main clean (repo claimed by markdown-example-renderings; that worktree touches autobuild/ + docs/internals.md only — no README overlap)
./PyAutoMemory main 1 unrelated dirty file (reading-queue.md, user's — leave untouched)
./PyAutoConf main clean

Suggested branch: docs/human-led-tone-sweep

Implementation Steps

  1. PyAutoBrainORGANISM.md intro paragraph; README.md lines 33–34 ("how much a run may do without a human… fork and run your own"); docs/index.md lines 5–13 (headline paragraph + fork line); docs/concepts/organism.md and docs/concepts/workflow.md intros only if passive.
  2. PyAutoMindREADME.md first paragraph: "where you lead" tagline voice.
  3. PyAutoHeartREADME.md prose below the auto-updated health board.
  4. PyAutoBuildREADME.md first paragraph (README-only; no file overlap with the in-flight worktree).
  5. PyAutoMemoryREADME.md first paragraph.
  6. PyAutoConfREADME.md intro: add one sentence naming it the Nerves of the PyAutoScientist organism.
  7. One PR per repo touched; prose authored in the main session per the tutorial-prose model split.

Key Files

  • PyAutoBrain/ORGANISM.md — canonical organism page (edit first; everything links here)
  • PyAutoBrain/docs/index.md — PyAutoScientist RTD headline
  • PyAuto{Brain,Mind,Heart,Build,Memory,Conf}/README.md — organ taglines

Notes

  • No dedicated Brain docs agent yet — routed via the Feature Agent; the missing agent is a known gap.

Human-led tone sweep across PyAutoScientist repos and docs

Filed 2026-07-10. Queued from the org-profile rewrite session
(PyAutoLabs/.github PR #2), where the maintainer set the new framing.

Original request (verbatim, from the org-README session)

Instead of framing this as "Open-source astronomy software, developed by an
AI scientist.", instead make the focus on this being something liek "An
agentic AI software development ecosystem for human-led natural language
software development", the focus is on how the human is the lead and its
all about enabling natalural to lead ther work. Maybe make sure this tone
permeates through the PyAutoscientist repos, docs

Settled framing (approved on the org front page — reuse, don't reinvent)

  • Tagline: "An agentic AI ecosystem for human-led, natural-language
    software development."
  • Intro voice: "You describe what you want in plain English; an organism of
AI agents plans, builds, tests and releases it — with you making every
    judgment call."
  • The human is the lead; agents are the labour. "Fork it and lead your own"
rather than "run your own". Mind is "where you lead".

Scope

Sweep the human-led, natural-language-first tone through:

  1. PyAutoBrain/ORGANISM.md — the canonical organism page (edit here first;
    everything else links to it).
  2. The six organ READMEs: PyAutoBrain, PyAutoMind, PyAutoHeart, PyAutoBuild,
    PyAutoMemory, PyAutoConf (Nerves).
  3. The PyAutoScientist RTD docs (PyAutoBrain/docs/): index.md, the
concepts/ pages, and the adoption guide — e.g. index currently says
"with a human checkpointing the judgment calls", which is passive; the
human should read as the one driving.

Tone changes only — no boundary/contract changes; ORGANISM.md's organ
boundaries and the call chain stay as-is. Keep it light: rewording of
taglines, intro paragraphs and framing sentences, not wholesale rewrites.

Notes

  • The org front page (PyAutoLabs/.github profile/README.md) already
carries the framing after PR Relocate the Health Agent into PyAutoBrain (canonical home) #2 — use it as the reference voice.
  • Consistent with the existing user-docs stance: agentic AI is first-class,
assistants are "point Claude/ChatGPT at it and ask".
