…from the board
Author decision: the ECLIPSE-C manuscript revision is no longer tracked in
PyAutoMind. Shelved rather than recorded as complete — the Mind cannot verify
the deliverable either way, so the archived file makes no claim about whether
the editorial comments were addressed.
The work targets a private paper checkout (/mnt/c/Users/Jammy/Science/euclid),
not a repo in the workspace. The 2026-08-08 orphaned-prompt triage filed it to
parked.md as STATE UNVERIFIED for that reason and nothing since changed it — a
prompt whose state can only ever be `unverified` is residue, not a task.
Nothing is open on GitHub. This prompt carried no issue of its own; its
assistant-side half (euclid_assistant wiki/rules for the same editorial points)
shipped on 2026-07-14 as euclid_assistant#6 / PR#8, recorded at
complete/2026/07/eceb-editorial-revision.md. Only Mind-side residue survived —
the prompt, the parked.md entry, and TWO dashboard rows (it was an orphan,
listed under both "In flight" and "Parked") — and this removes it.
Also resolves the open thread the July record was carrying ("the private
manuscript companion is a separate deliverable outside this repo"): that
companion was this prompt, and it is now shelved, not shipped.
The editorial board's letter is preserved verbatim in the shelved file — it is
the only copy in a tracked repo, and the reason this is archived rather than
deleted. A revival note flags the structural request (move undiscussed systems,
incl. the multi-page Fig.3, to an appendix) as the substantial item.
Verified: `lifecycle.py check` OK; dashboard regenerated via
`pyauto-brain intake --apply dashboard`; no dashboard rows remain. The dated
orphan-triage record is deliberately left untouched — it is accurate history
for 2026-08-08 (same treatment as the benchmark-calibration shelve in #201).

Conflict in dashboard.md only — a generated file. Resolved by regenerating it from the cleanly-merged source files rather than hand-merging the two renders: `intake --apply dashboard` on the merge result. Both sides' changes are present — #202's constant-zeroth-repair completion (In flight 12 -> 11) and this branch's ECEB shelve (11 -> 10, Parked 5 -> 4). Re-verified after the merge, all three PR assertions green: lifecycle.py check -> OK lifecycle.py index --check -> OK intake dashboard --check -> current Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_011UEkMcBkQVpuggTTbXdYpb

Why shelved and not completed
