Nice butterfly! It's one of the Cracker butterflies, Hamadryas meaning "mother of the woodnymphs" :) I think it's probably a Red Cracker, sp. amphinome. Amphinome being a Nereid (sea nymph) of Greek mythology. "They [nereids] often accompany Poseidon, the god of the sea, and can be friendly and helpful to sailors" ✨ |

Looks good to me, I love the idea of having a living butterfly represent httpx as a true successor to the venerable requests library. |

At first the colored photo look put me off just a bit, for some reason it's not that usual to have actual photos used as imagery for OSS... But I do approve the idea of using a picture of a live butterfly in any case. :)
Hmm, on the one hand a full colour image like that is maybe a little bit much? But at the same time it looks absolutely great. I do quite like the simple black and white illustrations. Breaking the mould a bit is a nice idea too though! Made me wonder what out of copyright butterfly illustrations there are in the internet archive.. turns out there are quite a few.. over 25000! https://www.flickr.com/search/?user_id=126377022%40N07&view_all=1&text=butterfly&license=7%2C9%2C10 (the internet archive book illustrations flickr page is probably my favourite thing on the internet)
Maybe a random butterfly on every page visit? :) |

This pull request updates the HTTPX logo, from the black and white anatomical-style sketch of pinned butterfly wings,
to a photo I recently took. (background masked, and with a little extra contrast to put more sunlight on the image)
I'm not sure what species this is and I couldn't find it in my own searches - do we have any butterfly experts in the house?
Perhaps someday we could have a rotating update, to put different species in the spotlight.
