basically all is in the subject, but here it is in details:

@typescript/typescript6 - last version is 6.0.1

typescript - last version in v6 branch is 6.0.3

would be nice to have them in sync

Why? The version you place there will have no impact on what version of TS your package manager selects to be reexported.

in the announcement post there is next snippet

if I get this right, it means that if some package does import blah from 'typescript' it will get v6. if I understant it correctly nest(/nest-cli) doet it. so effectively users of nestjs and typescript6 will be stuck with whatever version is available in that package.

But that has nothing to do the version of the shim package, which just depend on any v6?

oh, I get it. typescript6 is a kind of proxy (or what you called 'reexport') for the regular package.
