Bug Summary and Steps to Reproduce

Bug Summary: the language server keeps running with 100% cpu usage even after closing vscode

Steps to reproduce:

1. open a cpp file in vscode
2. close vscode
3. ps aux | grep cpp

Expected behavior: cpptools-srv should terminate as i close vscode

Anurag Mishra (@theAnuragMishra) Does it repro with 1.32.2? Do you repro it with a workspace with just a small file? int main() { return 0; }? Do you know what triggers the issue? I don't seem to repro it. Does it exit after a certain amount of time? Like after 5 minutes?
