I was trying to build node from source on my 32 bit Ubuntu 18.04 (experimental) and when I tried to build it by following the instructions in the docs, I ran into the same problem as discussed here: nodejs/help#2943 (comment)
Unfortunately, I could not really understand what I have to do to get it to work on my system.

I think it would be nice if #33044 was discussed in the building docs as well.
Describe alternatives you've considered
It would also be okay if #33044 was linked to in the building docs.
