Adding support for mermaid diagrams (https://mermaid.js.org/) in blog posts could help with making diagrams. Was trying this out for the upcoming blog post for the r2 migration, but haven't been able to get it working

Is this still up for grabs? It was pointed toward @AugustinMauroy back in March 2025, but no PR seems to have landed. I'd like to take a stab at it using rehype-mermaid as @flakey5 suggested — making sure it plays nicely with the existing @node-core/rehype-shiki pipeline (plugin ordering) and the site's build setup.
