docs(benchmarks): reject incomplete source repair [sc-2843] - #602
Merged
Conversation
The first large source family had a working narrow command repair, but its clean-pass eligibility was unresolved. This investigation rejects that repair as clean: real Git and the archived CLI reproduce a failed refresh changing from an unknown warning/exit 4 to no warning/exit 0 on the next cached check, in both source members. Records dispositions for 17 original correctness log statements, seven other original findings and 26 truncated later candidates. Repeated mechanisms, source contradictions and six unresolved original correctness claims remain explicit. Raw checklists are unavailable, so this is qualification evidence, not scored reviewer precision. Both members remain target-controlled and exposed; zero rows are admitted and no model benchmark was run. Publishes a sanitized receipt and reproduction guide, links the historical census, and preserves its original data. No production code, prompts, scores or accepted checkpoints change. sc2832's measured history comparison still needs qualified frozen cases. Validation: actual source/base command controls; real-Git failure and successful-cache controls; deterministic forced/expiry/interleaving checks; two native zero-judge census runs (11 chunks/34 tasks each); 14 receipt hashes, all50dispositions, source/family links, privacy and historical-receipt checks; git diff --check. Docs-only change, so no full product test-suite run. Ship gates recorded by devkit. Shortcut: https://app.shortcut.com/benordlabs/story/2843

Validation: actual source/base command controls; real-Git failure and successful-cache controls; deterministic forced/expiry/interleaving checks; two native zero-judge census runs (11 chunks/34 tasks each); 14 receipt hashes, all 50 dispositions, source/family links, privacy and historical-receipt checks; git diff --check. Ship validation: all four correctness lenses and conventions passed; deterministic gates and corpus validation passed. No launchable UI change. Advisory skill-projection drift reported two existing orphan files; no bypass was used. Full product typecheck/test execution is delegated to PR CI by the standard ship pre-push path; CI pending at publication.
