Thread transfer impact✅ Thread transfer remains within every enforced ceiling.
Baseline: Scenario and decoded snapshot size10 historical turns, 5 command tools per turn, 878.9 KiB retained MCP result per historical turn, and a 1.05 MiB retained result in the measured turn.
Updated in place by a trusted workflow. PR artifacts are strictly validated and never executed. |

Repeated PATH entries made editor and provider discovery probe the same files repeatedly. Skip exact duplicate directories and retain a single trace for the enclosing lookup. Case-distinct directories, lowercase executable extensions, and the existing cache policy remain supported.

c3caceade14ccda0686db0031aca79d7d38a71d0.Validation: 58 focused shared-shell/external-launcher tests pass; one platform-specific test skips. Shared typecheck, targeted lint, and diff checks pass. Native Windows timing was not measured.
