Problem to tag files with long string of characters

Hi guys,

Each time I'm trying to tag some MP3 which contains a long string of characters on Title or Artist field the filename is cropped, is it an issue or a limitation imposed by of the software?

For example:

$ id3ren -template='%n - %s.mp3' *.mp3
Wandering - The Foothills, Pt. 1.mp3   => 31 - Wandering - The Foothills, Pt..mp3
Wandering - The Foothills, Pt. 2.mp3   => 34 - Wandering - The Foothills, Pt..mp3
Wandering- The Foothills, Pt. 3.mp3    => 40 - Wandering - The Foothills, Pt..mp3
Wandering - The Glowing Sea, Pt. 1.mp3 => 45 - Wandering - The Glowing Sea, P.mp3
Wandering - The Glowing Sea, Pt. 2.mp3 => 49 - Wandering - The Glowing Sea, P.mp3
$
