FR: Ability to query for configuration in repositories over time

I'm not sure if you're planning to keep the solution strictly to code search, but one feature of Sourcegraph that is hugely beneficial to large organizations is the ability to query for configuration and change over time across hundreds of repositories.

I think the original issue description is missing some key search terms which almost led me to submit a duplicate:

• date range / dateRange
• date
• filter by date
