EventEmitter memory leak warning

I receive this warning in console when running the react-client:

MaxListenersExceededWarning: Possible EventEmitter memory leak detected. 11 init::cache-ready listeners added. Use emitter.setMaxListeners() to increase limit

Hi @coryhouse it's just a warning from javascript about whether or not you need more than the default number.

If you are using multiple useSplitClient or useSplitTreatments, each of them is adding its own listener, so the listener count increases.
Eventually, when the parent component that contains those useSplitClient and useSplitTreatments is unmounted, the listeners are removed, and the count decreases.

There is no memory leak.

Hi @coryhouse. FYI, we have released v1.12.0 of the React SDK, where we removed the warning since it doesn't represent a memory leak for the SDK, as @hbqdev explained.
